Prayer enables you to tap into Gods wisdom anywhere anytime no matter whats going on.

Sometimes Gods way of answering prayer is not by removing the pressure but by increasing your strength to bear it.

What a gift it was to me in my young adult years to have the opportunity to meet with my pastor Alex Aronis an hour a week over ten weeks to introduce me to the approach to prayer found in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola. I think back with deep gratitude that this was a pastor with a vision to teach parishioners how to pray and he was prepared to teach them one on one one by one. He was never so busy or preoccupied with church management that he did not have time for this very basic dimension of pastoral ministry. Yes it takes time but it may be one of the most powerful gifts we can give another teaching them how to pray.

Pray more worry less.

Feel the energy starting with your hands and if you maintain the sensation of being connected to that energy as you pray you can be more deeply immersed in your prayer. The reason is because the entire universe itself is composed of the energy youre feeling with your hands right now. When you maintain that feeling of connection with the universe as you pray for the great hopes and dreams cherished by your soul you are broadcasting your prayer to the entire universe as your audience. If the whole universe is resonating with your dream and working with you to make your dream come true wouldnt that lend great strength to you

Going to church is not a sign of going to God if you think he is omnipresent he is right there in your soul and bedroom.

Lord you are God You made us. Who better to know how to fix us when weve gone wrong who better to set us to rights again Who better to love us through the fire and refine us into something beautiful and useful despite our wrongs

When your prayers are motivated by needs or circumstances then its a bargain and not a devotion.
