Do not turn to prayer only in times of grief suffering and rage. Make prayer a habit whether you are blissful or sorrowful serene or upset clear or confused.

The greatest achievement was at first and for a time only a dream. Just as the oak sleeps in the acorn and the bird waits in the egg so dreams are the seedlings of realities.

Live gratefully. Express it constantly. Expect abundance.

God I want to give You every minute of this year. I shall try to keep You in mind every moment of my waking hours....I shall try to let You be the speaker and direct every word. I shall try to let You direct my acts. I shall try to learn Your language.

Its the most essential thing of all just because its not a matter of how you do it at all but of whether you do it. Like being born or cooking how you do it is less important than whether you do it. You can find thousands of books on prayer that give you methods of praying hundreds of hows but they do you no good at all unless you actually pray. Otherwise its like reading a cookbook instead of cooking. You cant eat a cookbook

Success is not about getting it right the first time but about not giving up even if it takes a lifetime of effort.

Get crazy in prayer. Ask for the seemingly impossible then watch it happen. Do not make judgments on what you are worthy of. Save the practicality for other aspects of your life.
