I envy people that know love. That have someone who takes them as they are.

Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too was a gift.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate only love can do that.

Father be near as we are surrounded by this cloud of deep suffering. Open our eyes to see that you are all things the light and the darkness not only those things that seem good in our eyes but the horrifying unexplainable. Wrap us up inside of the cloud and reveal the mysteries that can only be learned in places of sorrow that when we walk out we will be as Moses transformed by the shadow and beaming with the radiant light of your glory. Give us the strength to love on though our hearts are broken.

His so-fucking-vivid imagination rarely gave him the horrors but when it did God help him. God help him once it was warmed up. It was not only warmed up now it was hot and running on full choke. That there was no sense at all in what he was thinking made not a whit of difference in the dark. In the dark rationality seemed stupid and logic a dream. In the dark he thought with his skin.

There is no darkness when I go to sleep the wicked as they say never truly rest. I see blinding flashes of desperate arms reaching out I hear cries for help over the crackling of burning wood the ashen remains and the gut-wrenching smell of charred bodies.

Dreams in your life are like light bulbs that brighten your room. But having them on the ceiling is just not enough you got to make an effort by pressing on the switch and there it goes taking away the darkness

Ah children of the sunlight and the gaslight how little you know of the world in which you live

Outside across the putrid moat and under the dark mute trees I would often lie and dream for hours about what I read in the books and would longingly picture myself amidst gay crowds in the sunny world beyond the endless forests.

Below the surface I lie dreaminghaunting images in all colours and black.Sunlit sometimes there is no sun there.I keep the dream below the surfacethe cracked mask absolute.
