To try to pray is to pray. You cant fail at it. Its the only human endeavor I can think of where trying is doing. Reaching out is holding on. Joining in is letting go.

Lord make me less like Jonah and more like Jesus. Save me from being the kind of person who cares more about my comfort my reputation and my success than I do about the people You are calling me to serve. Help me to keep all of my dreams on Your altar and be ready at all times to respond with faith and obedience to Your call.

Wake Up At The Most Silent Time And Read The BIBLE.

There will be times in your life when you want to pray but feel so far from God that prayer seems impossible. The flesh will tell you that God is against you that you have gone too far and that He is no longer interested in you. But faith defies the flesh. It contradicts Satans lies. It rises up against defeat gloom and despair and finds hope in God.

Father be near as we are surrounded by this cloud of deep suffering. Open our eyes to see that you are all things the light and the darkness not only those things that seem good in our eyes but the horrifying unexplainable. Wrap us up inside of the cloud and reveal the mysteries that can only be learned in places of sorrow that when we walk out we will be as Moses transformed by the shadow and beaming with the radiant light of your glory. Give us the strength to love on though our hearts are broken.
