Im about to make a wild extreme and severe relationship rule the word busy is a load of crap and is most often used by assholes. The word busy is the relationship Weapon of Mass Destruction. It seems like a good excuse but in fact in every silo you uncover all youre going to find is a man who didnt care enough to call. Remember men are never to busy to get what they want.

Sometimes God allows what he hates to accomplish what he loves.

Therefore dear Sir love your solitude and try to sing out with the pain it causes you. For those who are near you are far away... and this shows that the space around you is beginning to grow vast.... be happy about your growth in which of course you cant take anyone with you and be gentle with those who stay behind be confident and calm in front of them and dont torment them with your doubts and dont frighten them with your faith or joy which they wouldnt be able to comprehend. Seek out some simple and true feeling of what you have in common with them which doesnt necessarily have to alter when you yourself change again and again when you see them love life in a form that is not your own and be indulgent toward those who are growing old who are afraid of the aloneness that you trust.... and dont expect any understanding but believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.

If hes not calling you its because you are not on his mind. If he creates expectations for you and then doesnt follow through on little things he will do same for big things. Be aware of this and realize that hes okay with disappointing you. Dont be with someone who doesnt do what they say theyre going to do. If hes choosing not to make a simple effort that would put you at ease and bring harmony to a recurring fight then he doesnt respect your feelings and needs. Busy is another word for asshole. Asshole is another word for the guy youre dating. You deserve a fcking phone call.

Some people dont understand the promises theyre making when they make them I said.Right of course. But you keep the promise anyway. Thats what love is. Love is keeping the promise anyway.

And now these three remain faith hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I think if Ive learned anything about friendship its to hang in stay connected fight for them and let them fight for you. Dont walk away dont be distracted dont be too busy or tired dont take them for granted. Friends are part of the glue that holds life and faith together. Powerful stuff.

Strange is it not how even those of us who scoff at divine intervention will fall to our knees and clasp our hands the moment we realize our futures are defined by uncertainty and hazard. Prayer makes coffee shops of our souls places that celebrate and savor the presence and lordship of God in our lives. It must be unceasing and constant. It must become who we are.
