Today I want to belong. I want to feel safe and at home. I want to be aware of what it is like simply to be without defenses or desires. I will appreciate the flow of life for what it is-my own true self. I will notice those moments of intimacy with myself when I feel that I am is enough to sustain me forever. I will lie on the grass at one with nature expanding until my being fades into the infinite.

Dont worry if people think youre crazy. You are crazy. You have that kind of intoxicating insanity that lets other people dream outside of the lines and become who theyre destined to be.

I thank you God who lives always and Who as i awaken has in mercy returned my soul to me we can ever trust in you.

Pray hope and dont worry. Worry is useless. God is merciful and will hear your prayer.

Self-will and prayer are both ways of getting things done. At the center of self-will is me carving a world in my image but at the center of prayer is God carving me in his Sons image.

Sometimes we feel conscious but unable to move our body. The first thing to do is focus in a prayer then start to wink frequently.By this way slowly but sure our body can be moved totally by our persistent willpower.

Satan dreads nothing but prayer. His one concern is to keep the saints from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies prayerless work prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil he mocks our wisdom but he trembles when we pray.

..when someone says please pray for me they are not just saying lets have lunch sometime. They are issuing an invitation into the depths of their lives and their humanity- and often with some urgency. And worry is not a substitute for prayer. Worry is a starting place but not a staying place. Worry invites me into prayer. As a staying place worry can be self-indulgent paralyzing draining and controlling. When I take worry into prayer it doesnt disappear but it becomes smaller.

The Lord gave the wonderful promise of the free use of His Name with the Father in conjunction with doing His works. The disciple who lives only for Jesus work and Kingdom for His will and honor will be given the power to appropriate the promise. Anyone grasping the promise only when he wants something very special for himself will be disappointed because he is making Jesus the servant of his own comfort. But whoever wants to pray the effective prayer of faith because he needs it for the work of the Master will learn it because he has made himself the servant of his Lords interests.

I came to set fire to the earth. And I am watchful that the fire grow.May the fire of love grow in our hearts.May the fire of transformation glow in our movements.May the fire of purification burn away our sins.May the fire of justice guide our steps.May the fire of wisdom illuminate our paths.May the fire that spreads over the Earth never be extinguished.
