Dreams are a luxury of the human condition.

I had a dream about you. You were playing the guitar like it was a piano and I was impressed with my deafness. You played awfully but all I could hear was I love you.

I had a dream about you you were trying to tell me a pipe had burst but I did not want to be around you because I thought your feet smelt terrible. When I realized that the smell was mold you were already so hurt you no longer had any interest in speaking to me. Or fixing the pipe.

Less than twenty-four hours ago I had a family and a home and a dreamworld I thought was as close to heaven as you could get without dying.I have none of that now.My brother is dead. My parents threw me out of the houseagainwith barely enough to fill a small suitcase. And my dreamworld I was right when I figured that if God ever did exist he turned his back on humanity centuries ago.

Jesus kept it simple. The lesson wasnt complicated. I speak you believe My word your son will be fine. We complicate what God has made simple by seeing the world through human eyes. We want to see in order to believe and presume that our limitations are His.

My other hand moves up to the ruby heart. Closing my fingers around it I shut my es and return to Neverland. Even if only in a dream

Prayer bends the omnipotence of heaven to your desire. Prayer moves the hand that moves the world.
