A Christian fellowship lives and exists by the intercession of its members for one another or it collapses. I can no longer condemn or hate a brother for whom I pray no matter how much trouble he causes me. His face that hitherto may have been strange and intolerable to me is transformed in intercession into the countenance of a brother for whom Christ died the face of a forgiven sinner.

I want to be a woman who lives totally abandoned to the first commandment to love my Lord my God with all my heart. I dont want the reputation that I love God I dont want to write songs about loving God I dont want to talk about loving God. I want to actually love God. When I close my eyes I want my heart to move. When I close my eyes and I look at Him I want to feel alive on the inside. I want to look at Him with a fire in my heart and its real.

Our prayer life and rule of prayer will be shaped by the different stages of our spiritual journey as well. Many people who have just come to know Christ find that their words flow easily. Prayer is a joy for them. But as with romantic relationships there is a natural movement beyond this honeymoon phase. When feelings of intense connection with God ebb we have a new opportunity to engage God - not based on cool spiritual vibes but as an expression of our genuine love for God. Times of spiritual dryness are normal for almost everyone even if we havent sinned and to the best of our knowledge havent done anything to wall off our relationship with God. God may allow this dryness so that we can mature in our relationship with him and learn to seek him not for an ecstatic spiritual experience but out of a deeper love and commitment.

The person who knows Christ best is the person who will pray best.

Jesus is the perfect nameHe who put away his fameAnd persecuted in shameThat you will never be the sameIts because of you and I He cameBelieve him or have yourself to blameIn the book of life have your name

When you settle for anything short of the best life God wants to offer you then you have been tempted to remain safe and the accountability for not changing your life becomes your prison of regret.

The Christian Journey is not just to a place Heaven it is also to a person Jesus. Ephesians 413 says Till we all come to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ

If you think you are unworthy to pray that thought is not coming from Jesus Christ. More than anything He wants us to approach Heavenly Father to have our prayers heard and answered.

God wanted us to do something and we went the bad way. Then he said No I am not going to lose what I want done So Im gonna save this people and restore their dreams back to them

Dont say you dont have enough time or enough money to change the world. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller Gandhi Michelangelo Mother Teresa Leonardo da Vinci and Jesus Christ.
