If there was magic in this world it happened within sight of the three bases and home plate. All the gems in my world that decorated the walls and floors of dragons lairs the sword hilts of privileged princes and crowns worn by emperors and kings were nothing compared to the beauty and splendor of the diamond in Wrigley Stadium. It wasnt just a yard with dirt chalk lines bases and a small hill in its center. Wrigley was a field of dreams. Dreams of eternal glory for the men who ran to the outfield who took their respective bases and prepared for battle against those who would dare enter their hallowed realm. Dreams for the kids in the stands all wanting to don a uniform kiss their moms goodbye and wield their bats as enchanted weapons destined to knock the cover off the ball. And for the adults who had already selected their lot in life Wrigley made the dreams of past innocence lost wonder and the promise that there was something inherently good still left in the world come true.Yeah corny as hell. But all true.

I want to tell you a growing conviction with me and that is that as we obey the leadings of the Spirit of God we enable God to answer the prayers of other people. I mean that our lives my life is the answer to someones prayer prayed perhaps centuries ago.It is more and more impossible to me to have programmes and plans because God alone has the plan and our plans are only apt to hinder Him and make it necessary for Him to break them up. I have the unspeakable knowledge that my life is the answer to prayers and that God is blessing me and making me a blessing entirely of His sovereign grace and nothing to do with my merits saving as I am bold enough to trust His leading and not the dictates of my own wisdom and common sense.

The dream begins most of the timewith a teacher who believes in you who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called truth

Shall I tell you what rock and roll is Johnno from someone who doesnt perform but observes Its restless and rude. Its defiant and daring. Its a fist shaken at age. Its a voice that often screams out questions because the answers are always changing. The very young play it because theyre searching for some way to express their anger or joy their confusion and their dreams. Once in a while and only once in a while someone comes along who truly understands who has the gift to transfer all those needs and emotions into music.

Prayer is like water - something you cant imagine has the strength or power to do any good and yet give it time and it can change the lay of the land.

The only value of this world lay in its power - at certain times - to suggest another world.

Spirituality without a prayer life is no spirituality at all and it will not last beyond the first defeats. Prayer is an opening of the self so that the Word of God can break in and make us new. Prayer unmasks. Prayer converts. Prayer impels. Prayer sustains us on the way. Pray for the grace it will take to continue what you would like to quit.

Push yourself to do more and to experience more. Harness your energy to start expanding your dreams. Yes expand your dreams. Dont accept a life of mediocrity when you hold such infinite potential within the fortress of your mind. Dare to tap into your greatness.

Dreams are stories made by and for the dreamer and each dreamer has his own folds to open and knots to untie.

I dont think that science and the paranormal have to be at war in fact its crucial that they work together. It seems nave to believe that the world is exactly as it seems.
