Nobody sees anybody truly but all through the flaws of their own egos. That is the way we all see ...each other in life. Vanity fear desire competition-- all such distortions within our own egos-- condition our vision of those in relation to us. Add to those distortions to our own egos the corresponding distortions in the egos of others and you see how cloudy the glass must become through which we look at each other. Thats how it is in all living relationships except when there is that rare case of two people who love intensely enough to burn through all those layers of opacity and see each others naked hearts.

Dont sacrifice yourself too much because if you sacrifice too much theres nothing else you can give and nobody will care for you.

If we want to live perfectly happy lives...we must drive out selfish character tendencies such as pride ego vanity jealousy lusts envy and worry. When we learn to live selflessly putting others before ourselves committing to what is noble right and good treating others with love and compassion...thats when true happiness is experienced. A genuine focus on selflessness cures all and creates an environment for true growth. Its the secret to every great relationship. We gain...when we give up self. I had a dream about you trying to parallel park your ego between two modest cars. The ego wouldnt fit and those guys werent putting up a fight so lets just say you made it work.

When true happiness shows up the ego is bored with it Its too plain too ordinary and it doesnt leave us feeling special or above the fray. It doesnt take away our problems which is the egos idea of happiness. The ego wants no more difficulties no ore sickness no more need for money no more work no more bad feelings only unending pleasure and bliss. Such perfection is the egos idea of a successful life. However the happiness the ego dreams of will never be attained by anyone. The ego denies the reality of this dimension where challenges are necessary to evolution and blissful states and pleasure come and go.
