Some dreams matter illuminate a crucial choice or reveal some intuition thats trying to push its way to the surface. Other though are detritus the residue of the day reassembling itself in some disjointed and chaotic way ... My dreams have wings. But not soaring eagle wings more like the wings of a butterflycolorful and easily ripped off. The last time my dreams got ripped off was when I shopped at Walmart the place where freedom soars like a caterpillar under the foot of oppression.

If I woke up one morning and realized that all I ever was going to be was a business man Id probably die. All my dreams would be shattered. Early in life I had many dreams. I dreamed of being a great basketball star. I dreamed of being a preacher. I dreamed of saving the world from war and racism. And I dreamed of being a great poet. Today I dream only of writing.

The fundamental virtue of success is that it allows you to know the true significance of what it means to have the freedom to make your dreams come true.

Yet I never sought what is real yearned for the real but rather I have yearned for dreams more than solid things. I can say I love the textures of dreams. The way they hover and almost taste. The clouds and darkness that linger behind mostly unseen. And the palette of dreams. You can almost taste the colours they seem as words on the tip of the tongue unsayable as pomegranate seeds unsayable as thick cream the darkness of such a thick cream. This is why I am obsessed with dreams. They know what we cannot. Night after night they try and tell us the impossible. Dreams are secret and closed and also contain everything gushing splayed open. Dream suitcases carpetbags hold-alls. They influence us secretly and they draw me to travel to nowhere to beautys passage through halls of mirrors where I know I am not myself I know I am sublime.

No man runs the race until he sees the dream.

God doesnt like it when we ask Him for the smallest things dare to make your dream so big that He can conveniently fit into it and make your dream come true.

I pray for all of us oppressor and friendthat together we may succeed in building a better worldthrough human understanding and loveand that in doing so we may reducethe pain and suffering of all sentient beings.

I had a dream about you. I was a painter and you were a nude banana. You wanted me to paint you in a still life and I asked you to put some peels on. Your nudity made me feel naked as a person. Also having no clothes on made me feel naked and thats why I couldnt see you because seeing you made me see who I was as a man and as a fruit. Im more banana than baby carrot if you know what I mean.
